You'll also be able to "Ask AI" directly in search. If you can't track down an estimate, or simply have an estimating related question, Handoff will provide your with an answer
You Asked, We Listened - Unit of Measurements Can Now Be Edited Manually
All users can now manually edit the unit of measurement (UOM) field in Handoff. This includes the ability to completely delete or hide the UOM from any estimate (i.e. removing SF from the end of a line item).
Recent Stability Fixes
- We fixed an issue where AI would report that authentication issues or technical issues were preventing it from creating estimates.
- We fixed an issue where the AI incorrectly saved project-specific instructions as AI Presets (which would be used every project).
- We deleted incorrectly saved AI Presets.
- We fixed an issue where the estimate table would scroll up/down unexpectedly when selecting an item.
- We fixed an issue where the "Use Handoff AI" input box would stay open after submitting long prompts (which would obscure the chat history)
- We fixed an issue where user phone numbers in settings displayed with the last digit cut off.
- We fixed an issue where the "Use Handoff AI" input box would flicker after pasting a long prompt.
- We fixed an issue where the right-hand manual editing panel reset when the Units dropdown is clicked.
- We fixed an issue where when users refresh while AI is creating/updating an estimate, and they lose the visual indicator that AI is "Creating estimate..."
- We fixed an issue where the QuickBooks status and Handoff status were not properly sync'd.
